STORY
If you’re anything like us, you believe God is up to something in Phoenix, AZ and you don’t want to miss it!
Our prayer has always been a simple one, “God if YOU’RE in it, we want to be in it with YOU”.
Sometimes it’s simple prayers like this that take you in unexpected and exciting directions.
A dream and a word from the Lord caused us to leave everything we knew in 2017. Then, an encounter with God’s presence changed everything again and has us stepping forward in faith today as we look to plant a presence-driven church here in the valley.
Kingdom Culture Phoenix isn’t concerned with being the next thing. We aren’t trying to be the new thing. We don’t care about being the biggest thing. We’re only wanting one thing…
We want to see people encounter the presence of God.
We know a lot of people who’ve had all kinds of faith, church, and life experiences. Whether Jesus is brand new to you, you’ve grown up in church, or you’ve had a lot of ups and downs in your faith journey, you’re invited to can encounter God with us.
OUR PASTORS
Eric & Kristy Upton have been married since 2009 and have five kids. They’ve been serving together in ministry since 2006 and have experienced virtually every church context.
They began working in a small start up church as youth pastors leading a student ministry from a garage where they saw incredible life change, baptisms, and new believers come to Jesus.
They moved into a rapidly growing single site campus leading a growing youth ministry from a few dozen students to reaching hundreds of students weekly in Northern California.
In 2017 they began serving at one of the nations largest churches in Phoenix, AZ as the Adult Ministry Pastor writing curriculum for neighborhood groups around the valley. Six months later Eric was asked to launch and become that same church’s first ever Online Campus Pastor.
Eric & Kristy are big-time sushi fans, they love coffee, and have drank the Crossfit cool-aid.
